Build the Symfony SaaS that adds subscriptions and recurring billing to BigCommerce and Shopify stores, carrying 720K subscribable products. Implemented the payment layer across Stripe, PayPal, Square and Authorize.net, storing payment intents so later charges run without the customer present. Built the merchant dashboard as a modular Angular single-page application, with custom services for application state and API access. Shipped a reusable Angular Material component library that cut the time to build each new screen. Wrote a BigCommerce extension that modifies checkout in the storefront. Covered the platform with unit and functional tests and managed database access through Doctrine ORM.

Set the technical direction and built the delivery teams for the products clients ask us for. Converted the product from a monorepo into microfrontends so teams ship features in parallel without waiting on one release. Introduced NgRx as one place to hold and share state across the application. Published a private Angular NPM library that gives every new project the same foundation on day one. Led the build of CI/CD on GitHub and Jenkins, then added SonarQube, lint rules and pre-commit checks so quality is enforced before review. Built per-ticket preview deployments, giving testers an isolated version of the application for every change. Solved server-side rendering and indexing for SPAs, lifting SEO performance by 70%. Managed and developed an iOS and Android application past 15K downloads.

Built sales optimisation software in React and .NET Core that recommends the strongest plans for merchants expanding their business. Delivered the reporting used by Bulgari and Brooks Brothers to tighten their day-to-day process. Integrated AG Grid so users could sort, group and act on large resource tables directly. Owned page performance against a fixed delivery date, and helped shape the team's planning.

Joined a small web consultancy as a developer and was promoted to head of development after two years. Led small delivery teams and wrote the specifications outsourced work was built against. Planned, developed, tested, deployed and maintained web applications in Angular, Express and PHP. Added Elasticsearch and Redis to make search across the system fast. Built an augmented reality feature with ARCore, and hybrid applications with Ionic for phones and tablets and Electron for the desktop.
